GO travel: Amsterdam Travel Guide
Design Skills Used:
Background
GO travel is a Travel Agency that provides the audience with useful information and trip plans for around the world. When GO travel reached out to me they were looking to expand their business into the magazine industry. They wanted to create a magazine that would feature locations the agency provides packages for hoping that if they tap into this market they would be able to improve their booking rate.

Problems and Challenges
The main design problem I faced working with GO travel is ensuring a unique layout, one that would keep the audience engaged the whole time and making GO travel the go to travel magazine. From travel advice, get to know places and allowing the brand to stand out from their competitors. GO travel’s main goal with a magazine was to provide their audience basic travel tips, place recommendations and provide details on culture and traditions for each place they feature. This allows their audience to be well-prepared for their travel experience.
Real World Application

Results and Outcome
The collaboration with GO travel to create the Amsterdam Guide has affected the brand success in a few ways. The layout provided a unique and visually pleasing design that set the magazine apart from other travel competitors. The magazines valuable travel tips highlight the destination and provide insight. The magazine serves as a first step when planning a trip with GO travel. The traveller can effectively plan their trip and immerse themselves in the experience with the digital version that comes with the physical copy. Overall it is expected to expand the brand while also growing the agencies bookings.
